Your safari adventure kicks off today! After breakfast, a Safari representative will pick you up from your hotel for a scenic 2-hour 20-minute drive to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a captivating start to your journey. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll explore seasonal swamps, vast savannahs, and the Tarangire River, which teems with diverse wildlife including birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a site with stunning views, followed by more game viewing. In the evening, head to a campsite within the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start the day with an early morning sunrise game drive in Tarangire National Park, soaking in the golden hues of the savannah as wildlife becomes active. After breakfast, enjoy another game drive before heading to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural adventure and lunch.

Today, we will spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park. We’ll begin our adventure at sunrise, embarking on a morning game drive, then returning to the campsite for a hearty breakfast. After packing a delicious lunch, we will set out for a full day game drive, immersing ourselves in the stunning landscapes of Serengeti while searching for the Big Five. Beyond the iconic large mammals, Serengeti is home to over 500 bird species, including the towering ostrich, the unique secretary bird, and the majestic black eagles that glide effortlessly above the savannah. As the sun sets, we will return to the campsite for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

We will depart the Serengeti campsite early this morning (around 6:00 AM) for a thrilling sunrise game drive, taking advantage of the active wildlife. After spotting animals in their prime, we’ll stop at a scenic picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush. The game drive will continue as we make our way back to the camp around noon for a hot lunch. Following lunch, we’ll load the vehicle and head towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, where we’ll enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Simba Campsite.

We will depart from the camp at 6:00 AM and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with our packed breakfast. This remarkable destination is home to nearly every species of wildlife found in East Africa, including the elusive black rhino, which we may have the chance to spot. Covering an area of 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) with a diameter of about 20 kilometers (12 miles), we will spend approximately 5 to 6 hours exploring its breathtaking landscapes. Afterward, we will ascend the crater and return to the campsite for our final meal together. From there, we will drive back to Arusha, arriving between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
